SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of precoding, by a precoding module, data presented in the form of a k-dimensional binary vector x, wherein the encoding comprises calculating u(0)=xW, where W is a matrix of the size k×2m and m is a code parameter; performing, by the precoding module, m-layer convoluted polarising transformation of the vector u(0), wherein the i-th transformation layer consists in breaking down the vector u(i-1) into 2m-1 sub-vectors with a length equal to 2, and multiplying said sub-vectors by a matrix, merging the obtained sub-vectors into a single vector with a size of 2m and rearranging elements of the obtained vector, the result of which is a vector u(i); as a result, a vector u(m) is obtained at the m-th layer, wherein rearrangements are selected from a common affine group; obtaining, by a multiplexer of an encoding device, convoluted polar code encoded data by multiplexing elements of the vector u(m).

EFFECT: faster encoding and decoding owing to fewer iterations.
