FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: along the row axis shields are installed in parallel and secured in the vertical position. Fruit crop or vine stools are laid into the cavity between the shields, and the cavity is filled with a moisture-retaining material. The stools are laid according to a zigzag pattern, in the horizontal plane. After the stool actuation the shields are removed, the stools are taken away from the moisture-retaining material, separated from the bush, and cut in pieces. For each subsequent vegetation the shield installation direction is changed by 90°.
EFFECT: decreased labour consumption and increased quantity and quality of planting material.
