FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, namely, horticulture and viticulture. The method involves rooting shoots and their separation from the mother vine. The mother vine is placed in a container, and the upper edge of the container side is placed over the vine head, and the lower edge is embedded into the soil. In the lower area of the shoots the buds and leaves are removed to upper edge of the container side. Then, the cavity of the container is filled with water holding material above the vine head. After the shoots rooting the container is removed and the cuttings are separated from the head of the mother vine.
EFFECT: invention enables to increase the yield of cuttings and to improve their quality, as well as to reduce labor costs and resources in growing seedlings.
