FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: cutting plate has attachment section and at least, one cutting section, upper and lower opposite surfaces and periphery lateral surface between them. The upper and peripheral lateral surfaces touch on the upper edge at least, part of which is a cutting edge. The cutting section has a front main cutting edge and two opposite lateral cutting edges, passing back from the main cutting edge to the attachment section and located on opposite sides of the central line of the cutting plate. Each lateral cutting edge has a stepped shape on the plan view of the cutting plate.

EFFECT: increased output and accuracy of cutting.
