FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to auger presses. The following components are suggested: permeable tape, auger press, which includes shaft that has external surface and permeable tape, and method of drying or pressing of cloth with the help of permeable tape. Permeable tape may be under tension that makes at least 30 kN/m. Side of permeable tape has open zone that makes at least 25% and zone of contact that makes at least approximately 10% or at least 25%.
EFFECT: reduction of moisture content in paper cloth that exits the press.
