SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for dehydration of a fibrous cloth, in particular, a paper cloth of sanitary and hygiene purpose, with the first zone of pressing, which has length L₁ of pressing and through which the fibrous cloth is sent while lying between a permeable tape stretching along a closed trajectory and a permeable support tape stretching along a closed trajectory, at the same time the first zone of pressing is made so that via the tape, the fibrous cloth and the support tape, at least on the part of length L₁ of the pressing zone, the fluid medium may leak through. Additionally the device has the second pressing zone that follows the first zone of pressing, which has the length L₂ of the pressing zone, to dehydrate the fibrous cloth. The fibrous cloth is sent via the second zone of pressing between two tapes with different volume elasticity, besides, the length L₁ of the pressing zone is more than the length L₂ of the pressing zone.

EFFECT: efficient dehydration of a fibrous cloth with preservation of its quality.
