FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to heating devices that operate due to cavitation-vortex processes in liquid. Toroidal heat-generator of cavitation-vortex type is suggested, in which between impeller equipped with outlet jet-forming channel that enters toroidal working chamber and axial channel of liquid inlet and outlet into impeller, device is installed for setting the difference of moments of momentum of liquid flows that come out of jet-forming channel and liquid supply that exits axial channel to the inlet of impeller. Different versions of this device are given, so that device makes it possible to reset capacity of power consumption and heat generation accordingly.
EFFECT: provides possibility of heat-generator adjustment for preset power and control of consumed power.
