FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to paediatrics, and can be used for prediction of arrested neurologic-and-behavioural development in infants suffering from perinatal CNS affections. Method consists that peripheral venous blood serum of infants suffering from perinatal CNS affections and having normal psychological development aged 1 year old are tested for ceruloplasmin content. If this value is equal 20-41.6 mg/dl, IV-V group of psychological development is predicted by 3rd year of life. Method allows for higher accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of arrested neurologic-and-behavioural development prediction in infants that allows for timely preventive actions and for prevention of psychological deviations.

EFFECT: possibility of arrested neurologic-and-behavioural development prediction in infants.
