FIELD: communications.
SUBSTANCE: following actions are performed: conversion of one physical mobile switching centre (MSC) into multiple logic MSCs, i.e. into multiple virtual MSC and assigning virtual MSC number to each virtual MSC as well as corresponding definition of certain connection between location area (areas) covered by virtual MSC and virtual MSC number of each virtual MSC; transmission of data on terminal location with virtual MSC number during communication to implement communications between multiple subnetworks. As far as terminal location is transmitted according to virtual MSC number, during communication it is possible to differentiate between terminals which are located in different subnetworks covered by physical MSC; thereby roaming and terminal forwarding between subnetworks can be performed; roaming limitation can also be performed using MSC list and VLR list.
EFFECT: providing communications between terminals located in different subnetworks covered by one mobile communications centre.
