FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for excision of a lens with a dense kernel together with a capsule from the posterior chamber of an eye in situations when pathological mobility of the lens is observed. Enter disperse viscoelastic into the anterior chamber for protection of cornea endothelium. Under a lens enter cohesive viscoelastic and squeeze it an anterior hyaloid membrane with it back. Turn the lens in an equatorial plane at 50°-55° round an axis passing in 6-12 hours. Further, by means of a forceps-fragmentator consistently, starting from the top part, split the lens on fragments maneuver "pyramid dismantling". The jaws of the fragmentation forceps work in a plane, perpendicular to equatorial plane of the lens. After excising of each fragment and its deducing outside add cohesive viscoelastic under the lens, restoring initial volume of viscoelastic, providing protection of an anterior hyaloid membrane against damages. As a disperse viscoelastic it is possible to use "Viscoat", and as a cohesive material - "Provisk".
EFFECT: possibility to remove a lens with a dense kernel noninvasively and quickly without zonular support with minimum of risk of damage of an anterior hyaloid membrane.
