SUBSTANCE: device comprises clamping device to mount eccentrically and to clamp the cylinder to be processed, machining assembly to machine the cylinder helical screw bore. At that the aforesaid clamping device is arranged to make the cylinder rotate and swing relative to the machine helical bore central axis making an axis of rotation. The aforesaid machining assembly comprises lathe tool reciprocating towards the said axis of rotation by half the cone opening angle. The proposed method of producing the plasticising cylinder using the abode described device comprises clamping the cylinder with a shift relative to its axis of symmetry and running it so that it swings relative to the eccentric axis of rotation. Note here that the aforesaid reciprocating lathe tool is arranged along the axis locates at the angle to the axis of rotation making half the cone opening angle of the bore being machined and is moved along the said axis with the cylinder continuously running.

EFFECT: provision of machining device and obtaining the method for production of plasticising cylinder.
