FIELD: machine engineering, manufacture of machine tools, namely of lathes for turning sealing surfaces, mainly in closures of housings, of locking members (wedges, discs, slide gates) of flanged dampers and valves at their repairing. SUBSTANCE: machine tool includes drive unit, faceplate 1 with carriage 7 and cutter 8; hollow boring bar 2 with spindle 3 in its inner cavity. Spindle 3 and boring bar 2 are kinematically connected one with another at one side through faceplate 1 and carriage 7 with cutter 8 and at other side - through drive unit, gear wheels, detachable couplings, differential mechanism. Such kinematic circuit with single drive for rotating boring bar 2 with cutter 8 and for radially moving cutter allow to make compact head with minimal mass. EFFECT: improved design. 5 dwg
