FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method of glass-melting tank operation includes loading of charge in furnace through doghouse, melting of charge in melting tank by means of gas supply through chamber burners and its burning in melting tank of tank furnace with creation of liquid glass. Then liquid glass temperature is reduced along longitudinal axis of furnace lower than its temperature near side walls due to cooling of liquid mass by submersible axial element. Gas is supplied through six pairs of gas chamber burners with total specific gas flow from 216.8 to 228.5 m³/t of melted liquid glass, and water supply into water cooled element is performed from 580 to 620 l/min, with inlet temperature T from 20° to 40°C.

EFFECT: makes it possible to increase service life of glass-melting tank, to improve quality of manufactured products, to increase glass produce.
