FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: during operation of polished sheet glass making line, charge is supplied by four table feeders, each with capacity of 2.5 t/hour to 20 t/hour. Feeder table travel is 0.14 m to 0.24 m, and rotation speed is 1.5 to 4.5 rpm. Gas is supplied through chamber burners with total flow of natural gas of 25000 m3/hour to 29000 m3/hour and with fan air total flow of 3450 m3/hour to 24150 m3/hour. Heating capacity of one burner is 0.32 Gkcal/hour to 2.8 Gkcal/hour. Homogenisation and decrease of temperature of glass mass is carried out by means of glass mass cooling with the help of submersible axial element and restrictors with overall total water flow of 1050-1100 l/min.
EFFECT: improvement of quality and service life of polished sheet glass making line.
