FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: receiver contains local compound code generator (24) generating actual and imaginary components of AltBOC local version compound code. Components are received by combination of locally generated codes (c3, c4) with actual and imaginary components (cr, sr) of upper and lower subcarrier; correlation subsystem (22, 26) for correlation signal formation, as result of detected correlation between locally generated compound code and compound code in received signal AltBOC. Correlation is received by combination of products received by multiplication of cophasal and quadrature components of signal received in main frequency band on locally generated components of compound code; and compound code local generator controller (40) operating compound code local generator so that to combine local compound code with corresponding compound code in generated signal AltBOC based correlation signals. Controller detects global site based on difference between time moments in which compound codes AltBOC have been transferred and time moments of these codes reception of.

EFFECT: improvement of signal processing.
