SUBSTANCE: invention is related to radio engineering and communication, may be used in modeling and testing of telecommunication systems, in particular, local computer networks at the stage of design. Random sequences generated in this invention make it possible to imitate the load with property of self-similarity. In generator of random signals, which contains noise generator, the first device of selection and storage, generator of ramp voltage, the first comparison circuit, delay element and RS-trigger, the following components are introduced: additional generator of noise, the second device of selection and storage, the second comparison circuit, reconfigurable clock pulse generator and switch. Invention may be used for long-term prediction of self-similar load during synthesis of communication network control system in aspects of intranet organisation.

EFFECT: provision of possibility to imitate the load with property of self-similarity.
