FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus operates in three modes: in packet switching mode, in channel switching mode and training mode. Implementation of the disclosed digital communication channel hybrid switching method and apparatus, network traffic generator and identification module confirms the practicability of transmitting long messages by a channel switching method and short messages by a packet switching method, since this not only enables to preserve the time scale, but enables to achieve said objectives of the invention.
EFFECT: reducing time delays when transmitting messages with an acceptable level of service denial by selecting a switching mode which takes into account the memory buffer utilisation and implementing a mode for training and setting up the apparatus with a wide range of types of traffic used in modern technologies, high efficiency of the module for identifying message parameters.
