FIELD: radio engineering and communications.

SUBSTANCE: device for simulating network traffic comprises first and second noise generators, first and second sampling and storage elements, first and second comparison elements, tunable clock pulse generator, generator of linearly varying voltage, first, second and third controlled delay lines, control element, first and second electronic switches, traffic parameters correction unit, wherein control inputs of first and second electronic switches are connected to control outputs “Front” and “Decay” of traffic parameters correction unit, control inputs of first, second and third controlled delay lines are connected to control outputs of “Decay 1”, “Decay 2” and "Decay 3” respectively of parameters correction unit, control inputs of first and second noise generators are combined and connected to control output of “Law of distribution” of traffic parameters correction unit, control input of tunable clock pulse generator is connected to control output of traffic speed traffic parameters correction unit.

EFFECT: wider range of simulation of types of network traffic.
