FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: machine contains frame, in which movable and fixed mechanisms of log pressing are installed as well as guides for displacement of carriage with cutting units installed in it in the form of profile-shaping mechanism - cutter and mechanism of longitudinal slot selection in the form of cutter with cutting edges that correspond to the shape of cut slot, with drives and mechanisms of transverse displacements. Additionally sawing unit is installed in carriage with mechanism of vertical displacement. Cutter for profile formation has cutting edges with radius equal to the radius of shaped cylinder, and central plane of this cutter cutting trajectory passes through central axis of log that matches axis that joins centers of log pressing.
EFFECT: reduction of weight and dimensions of machine and increase of wood output.
