FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to method of conversion of components of oil residue before treatment having temperature of boiling from 200°C (400°F) to 430°C (800°F) into products having temperature of boiling at least 11°C (20°F) lower, including the following stages: (a) combining of oil residue with water liquid for receiving an emulsion, (b) ultrasonic treatment of emulsion, (c) extraction of organic phase from the emulsion after the above said effect, at that for receiving the emulsion an additive representing liquid aliphatic hydrocarbons C15-C20 and mixture of such hydrocarbons or dialkyl ether are used.
EFFECT: extracting of increased amount of usable oil from oil residue.
