FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to construction industry, and namely to building structures' reinforcements. Method can be used for reinforcing reinforced-concrete columns mostly operated under conditions of increased longitudinal momentary dynamic loads. One solid steel plate is attached to each edge of column from above and from below. Angles are arranged on column angular surfaces. In order to obtain solid casing, angles and plates are welded to each other. Height of each steel casing is selected on the basis of 1/3 of column length. Epoxy adhesive is used for firm joining of casing to column stem. Reinforcement of support areas, in which there can be maximum stresses, for 1/3 of column length, increases column bearing capacity. Use of solid steel plates and epoxy adhesive prevents concrete from damage and squeesing during effect of longitudinal momentary dynamic loads, thus increasing column reliability and bearing capacity.
EFFECT: increasing column bearing capacity and preventing column damage at the effect of longitudinal momentary dynamic loads applied thereon.
