Matrix that retains electrolyte has rate of reactions with phosphoric acid that is approximately less than 0.010 mg/kch·cm2. Hydrophilic wafers connected to layers of catalysts have initial content of movable phosphoric acid that is approximately less than 25 mg/cm2. Area of condensation provides rate of evaporated phosphoric acid loss that is less than approximately 0.17 mg/kch·cm2.
EFFECT: improvement of battery characteristics and service life.
