FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: system of fuel cells comprises a battery (9) of fuel cells in which phosphoric acid or some other electrolyte is used. In each fuel cell of all groups of fuel cells which are separated from each other by corresponding cooling plates (55), there is a chemically inert zone (11). The heat carrier enters the cooling plates through a zone adjacent to the chemically inert zones of the fuel cells (29-31). In each fuel cell, the stream of fuel has three parts; the first part is primarily adjacent to the third zone (13) away from the first zone; the second part is primarily adjacent to the second zone which continuously links with the first zone. The heat carrier passes (33, 34) from the heat carrier inlet (29) through the first zone to the far side of the second zone and (37-41) from the near side of the second zone to the third zone, and from there (45-50) to the output collector (30) for the heat carrier.
EFFECT: high efficiency of condensing the electrolyte and preventing anode poisoning.
