FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: battery 20 of fuel elements comprises an electrochemically active part 40, which functions at the average working temperature with average temperature in the range of approximately from 171°C to 182°C during the entire actual service life of the battery service life. Maximum and minimum working temperatures of the electrochemically active part may protrude beyond the limits of the range of average working temperatures. In one of the examples the electrochemically active part has the minimum temperature higher than approximately 149°C, the maximum temperature lower than approximately 204°C.
EFFECT: increased service life of fuel element operation.
