FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: mixture of aluminum hydroxide, lanthanum oxide and alloying additives is subjected to thermal processing in water vapour in autoclave in two stages. First stage is carried out in temperature interval 180-250°C, and the second - in temperature interval 390-450°C. As alloying additives oxides or salts of elements, selected from line: Mg, Cr, Eu, Ce in amount from 0.001 to 2% weight from lanthanum aluminate weight are used.
EFFECT: obtaining lanthanum aluminate with low water content, alloyed, magnesium, chrome, europium or cerium.
