FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: sewage waters of galvanic manufactures, containing ions Fe2+, are supplied to anode chamber of membrane electrolyser, where iron ions are oxidised to Fe3+ in acidic medium, after which gaseous chlorine and oxygen are extracted from water by vacuum degassing. Then water is supplied to inlet of cathode chamber of membrane electrolyser, mixed with sewage waters of galvanic manufactures, containing ions Cr6+, and processed in cathode chamber, where chrome ions are reduced to Cr3+ in alkaline medium, after which water is mixed with plant sewage water, containing suspended substances, oil products and SAS, and fed to electric floatator, supplied with discretely placed electrode units, forming alternating zones of floatation and sedimentation along flow line of purified water in electric floatator, number of electrode units being equal to number of stagnation zones formed by foam-collecting partition of electric floatator, distance between electrode units being equal their width.
EFFECT: increase of degree of sewage water purification.
