FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining one or more iodised organic substances with molecular weight less than 2000 (substance S) using (A) one substance generating free radicals, which is selected from peroxides, diazocompounds, dialkyldiphenylalkanes, substances obtained from tetraphenylethane, boranes and substances - chain-transmitters, containing one thiuram disulfide group, (B) unsaturated substance with ethylene double bond, able to bind free radical to its ethylene double bond and (C) molecular iodine, which includes stages at which fraction (A), fraction (B) and fraction (C) are introduced into reactor and then reactor content is introduced into reaction, adding possibly remaining (A), possibly remaining (B) and possibly remaining (C) until reactor content represents mixture containing one or more substances S. Also claimed are iodized organic substances, which can be especially efficiently obtained by said method, and method of obtaining polymers by free-radical polymerisation of one unsaturated monomer with ethylene bond, substance, generating free radicals and one or more substances S, obtained by claimed method.
EFFECT: cheap and safe method of obtaining low-molecular iodised organic substances.
