FIELD: pharmaceuticals.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of production of a fluorinated organic compound, described by the following formula (1): the method involves the reaction of a compound represented by formula (1):

wherein each of R1 and R2 independently represents either a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or an organic group, or R1 and R2 optionally form a ring together with two adjacent carbon atoms; and n is either 1 or 2, with a fluorine source, an iodine source and an oxidizing agent or radical generator, with the addition of fluorine and iodine to the double bond or triple bond. The fluorine source is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen fluoride, hydrofluoride salts and fluoride salts. Iodine and iodide salts are used as a source of iodine. Oxidizing agents and radical generators are selected from the group consisting of peroxides, metal oxides, azo compounds, sulfonium salts and iodonium salts.

EFFECT: creation of a new method of producing fluorinated iodinated organic compounds.
