FIELD: chemistry; engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of obtaining hydro-fuel emulsion involves pre-mixing fuel with water and a surfactant, forming a circulation fluid flow with a preset cross-section and speed of flow is described. Periodically, this flow is stopped and part of the flow is directed to the channel, which has a lot of smaller cross sections than the fluid flow, and blocks the channel, creating in the fluid moving by inertia negative pressure with the formation of cavitation bubbles. The indicated method is realised with the device, which contains situated on one axis a rotor and a stator close to the wide channels, where the wide channels of the rotor covers all the wide channels of the stator, and in the spaces between the channels with the wide openings of the stator are executed additional thin channels, and the spaces between the channels in the rotor have the capability of periodically covering the narrow channels.
EFFECT: dispersing of immiscible liquids and obtaining a hydro-fuel emulsion with nano-dimensional particles.
