FIELD: chemistry; metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method involves electrolysis in unsteady state conditions from an electrolyte, containing cobalt sulphate. The electrolyte also contains sodium chloride, boric acid and amine monoethanol. Electrolysis is carried out with application of pulsed bidirectional current onto the electrolyser, with frequency of 50-100 Hz and amplitude of 10-15 V, with ratio of the duration of negative and positive pulses of (20-30):(1-5).
EFFECT: increased stability of the electrolyte and reduced internal voltages.
