FIELD: heating, drying.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drying technologies, and particularly, to automatic control methods for drying and may be used in food, chemical and other interfacing industries. Method of automatic control over poly-disperse materials drying in suspended swirling bed provides for materials pre-drying and drying. Method implies for measuring source materials flow rate, moisture content and temperature, dried-out material flow rate, moisture and temperature. Method also provide for measuring moisture content, temperature and flow-rate of coolant supplied to dryer and moisture content of coolant after drying. Data from sensors measuring flow rate, moisture content and temperature of source material, flow rate and moisture content of dried-out material, moisture content, temperature and flow rate of coolant supplied to dryer, moisture content of coolant after drying, are transmitted to microprocessor, which sets the temperature mode and coolant supply mode for drying as well as optimal flow rate of source material. Method also provides for source material pre-drying in cyclone dryer and drying in suspended swirling bed. Control mode is adjusted at four levels. At first, drying is conducted at first three levels in three drying zones by tangentially supplied flows of coolant. At level 4, drying is corrected by control of axial coolant flow rate and temperature.
EFFECT: improvement of finished product quality, control efficiency and reliability and reduction of power consumption per finished product unit of weight.
