FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction materials production and, particularly, it may be used for non-metal materials melting in cupola furnace for production of stone casting, slag wool from melt. Method includes supply of air flow and hydrocarbon fuel to burner system, hydrocarbon fuel decomposition to hydrogen and carbon by heating. Only 3-28% of hydrocarbon fuel is decomposed to hydrogen and carbon by heating to 325°C-550°C. Resulting hot hydrogen and heated carbon particles are mixed up with non-decomposed hydrocarbon fuel to produce reactionary and active fuel mixture to be supplied to air flow. Fuel mixture is supplied at 1.2-3 ratio of reactionary and active fuel mixture speed to air flow speed. At the end, mixture is burnt.
EFFECT: increase of temperature in cupola furnace.
