SUBSTANCE: method comprises burning a gas fuel in the furnace. The gas fuel is made of hydrogen supplemented with carbon-containing agents such as gas hydrocarbons, liquid hydrocarbons or finely divided carbon in amounts of 2-19% of the hydrogen mass.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption and heightened temperature in the furnace.
