FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electrical engineering and may be used in design of measuring current transformers for devices of sparking rating in collector of DC machines, measurement of overload currents and leakage currents in composition of automated systems for monitoring of switching and collector devices condition. Measuring current transformer has primary winding in the form of conductor with measured current, which passes through the ring of toroidal core, and secondary winding intended for connection to indication device. Primary and secondary windings are isolated from each other, at that primary winding conductor in the field of core is branched into two parallel branches. One of parallel branches of the primary winding is arranged in the form of conducting pin installed in cartridge from the same material, and insulation holder isolated from it. Specified cartridge is the second branch of conductor. These two parallel branches of conductor of the primary winding are connected back-to-back by means of loop that embraces the core, so that current flows in them in opposite directions, at that specified parallel branches of the primary winding are equipped with terminals for connection to two different parts of split brush. The second ends of these branches are connected with terminal for connection to brush holder of this brush. Transformer is installed into take-down vessel and is filled with compound.
EFFECT: creation of reliable and compact device, provision of wide dynamic range of current measurement.
