FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to radio communication, namely to method of rough adjustment of antenna systems within relay station routing. Antennas are oriented using consumer GPS-receiver with integrated barometric altimeter. At first position and height of the first point are evaluated with results stored in device memory. Thereafter position and height of the second point are evaluated. Using return search function the pointer orients antenna azimuth in horizontal plane. For vertical orientation tilt angle β is calculated by formula β=arctg(h1-h2)/l, where h1 is the first point height, h2 is the second point height, l is point distance. Then this pattern is used to calculate antenna orientation by angle and azimuth in the first point.
EFFECT: simplified adjustment.
