FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: artificial arm contains facing, a skeleton the first finger and block II-V of fingers established in it on axes, pivotally bound among themselves by means of two intermediate levers, one of them is double-armed, spring, pulley, draught bridged to it, cam and roller. The cam is established on one axis with the spring-actuated pulley and it is rigidly bound to it. The roller is located on the free extremity of the double-armed lever and drawn in to a surface of the cam by means of the additional spring simultaneously turning fingers of the arm in opened position. The cam is profiled in such a manner that force of friction of rest of a roller is equal or higher of its force of rolling along the cam. At remission of the spring-actuated pulley and cam rigidly bound to it last through the roller and levers, fixes fingers in any position, including intermediate position.
EFFECT: reliability and functionality of a prosthesis increases.
