FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes electro arc steel melting, its reduction, vacuum outgassing, continuous casting with velocity 2.5-3.5 m/min into blank of square section, area of which exceeds cross-sectional area of round stock not less than 18 times, blank hot into bar. Reduction is implemented at two stages: in the beginning by silicon carbide introduction till achieving of oxygen concentration in melt more than 10, and then metal aluminium introduction in amount of 0.006-0.008% by fusion. Hot rolling is implemented in temperature range from 1100-1200 till 500-800°C, after what rods are cooled by water with average speed not less than 10°C/s. During vacuum outgassing at achieving of pressure 0.3-0.8 mm column of mercury melt is mixed not less than 30 minutes by means of argon feeding.
EFFECT: improving of rods and rolling screening yield at usage of continuously cast section.
