FIELD: separation of liquids. SUBSTANCE: settler has a tank provided with a branch pipe for supplying initial liquid and means for collecting and discharging liquid to be separated. The means for collecting and discharging the liquid is constructed as a hollow ring-shaped float. The inlet part of a hose is secured to the central part of the float. The hose is connected with the branch pipe for discharging liquid, and the space of the float is provided with a controller of supplying working fluid. The controller is made up as a cylinder with piston. The cylinder is secured to the outer part of the tank. The connecting rod of the piston has a pointer, and the cylinder has a scale. The branch pipe for discharging the liquid is connected with the discharging hose through a valving box which is constructed as a housing separated by a vertical baffle into two chambers. The chambers have ports provided with shut-off valves interconnected via pivotally connected rocker having different arms. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 6 dwg
