FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: engine incorporates block 1 made up of two two-stroke cylinders 3, 4 and rotor 2 furnished with four X-like slots, four chokes 28, 29, 30, 31 and four chambers arranged there between and coupling up block 1 with rotor 2, two blowoff receivers 11, 12, two intake pipes 5, 6, four branch pipes 16, 40 communicating via channel 13, four branch pipes 24, 24, 25, 25 with valves and drive 7, 8 running valves 32, 33, 34, 35 at the rate of crankshaft 10 and, twice as faster, rotor 2. Air mixed with fuel is compressed in cylinder, ignited and, combustion approaching completion, overheated water is forced by pump 20 from cooling jacket 21 into the cylinder to expand vapor-gas to the level of outlet openings 36. Simultaneously, air is sucked via branch pipes 22, 26 and valves 32, 34 into the rotor smaller chambers, air is compressed and forced via branch pipes 24, 25 into receivers 11, 12. Exhaust openings 35 are opened to expand vapor-gas inside cylinder and two larger chambers of the rotor. Piston 17 and valves 18, 19 clear blowoff openings 37, 9 to force vapor-gas from cylinder into the rotor expanding chambers with the help of receivers compressed air forced via branch pipes 14, 15, 39. Now, blow-off openings 37, 9 are closed along with exhaust openings 36 and rotor exhaust is opened by valves 33, 35.
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
