FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: chain coupler is made up of two parts moving lengthwise to engage and disengage the coupler. Every part of aforesaid coupler is furnished with tenon on its one end and, on the other one, with slot receiving the said tenon of the first coupler part. Every said tenon is furnished with at least one locking rib extended every time into the groove locking aforesaid slot on the other coupler part. Aforesaid tenon and slot feature continuously increasing and widening in lengthwise direction of the coupler. Locking rib side surfaces are wedge-like.
EFFECT: ease of disengagement of coupler after long operation, minor shift in engagement and disengagement.
