FIELD: nuclear power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: emergency cooling system of reactor plant with liquid-metal heat carrier consists of a cooling surface arranged in a vertical air duct which is equipped with inlet and outlet dampers as well as warming up device of the above surface; at that under the cooling surface there installed is a manhole fixed in the air duct wall, and warming up device is made in the form of rotor heater with suction and discharge branch pipes connected to air duct in the areas located above and below the cooling surface correspondingly. At that discharge branch pipe of rotor heater is connected with the air duct by means of the above manhole the cover of which is installed thereon with the possibility of axial movement.

EFFECT: temperature uniformity; less time required for warming up.
