SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to electric equipment for ignition of fuel mix on the basis of gas, petroleum or any other kind of fuel in gaseous or liquid state. Electrospark ignition device contains ignition coil, secondary winding terminals of which are intended for connecting to ignition electrodes with preset spark gap, key and pulse former connected with power supply where pulse former is made programmable and includes: charger, storage capacitor, threshold device, single pulse former and pulse sequence former. Additionally electrospark ignition device contains voltage limiter.

EFFECT: improvement of fuel mix ignition reliability due to providing stability of spark discharge energy in variable operation conditions with simultaneous improvement of electrospark ignition device reliability and efficiency factor.
