FIELD: combustion.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises ignition coil whose primary winding is connected with the DC power source through the transistor switch and current pickup and secondary winding is used for supplying voltage to the electrodes of the spark gap, pulse generator whose first output is connected with one of the control inputs of the transistor switch, unit for limiting current whose signal input is connected with the output of the current pickup, and inhibition unit. The device is provided with the flame indication unit whose starting input is connected in the circuit for connecting the secondary winding of the ignition coil with the electrodes of the spark gap and output is connected with the control input of the pulse generator. The inhibition unit is made of transistor switch and connected between the its second control input and output of the unit for limiting current whose reference input is connected with the second output of the pulse generator. The pulse generator comprises controlled pulse generator and is made for permitting generation of signal for driving the transistor switch to conduct at the first output and reference voltage for the unit of current limiting at the second output. The flame indication unit comprises RC-circuit connected to its input. The capacitor of the RC-circuit is connected in the circuit for connecting to the electrodes of the spark gap of the second winding of the ignition coil through the current limiting resistor and is shunted by a diode.
