FIELD: heating systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices meant for protecting the heat exchange equipment, and namely low pressure steam and water boilers, water heaters, feed steaming plants, etc., from salt deposit (scale) formation on working heating surfaces. The device meant for preventing salt deposit formation in heat exchange equipment is connected to heat exchanger, and consists of impulse generator and oscillator of electromagnetic waves and mechanical vibrations, and is made in the form of cylindrical pipeline with a diamagnetic insert, which is connected to water source. Inside the diamagnetic insert there centrally installed is a pin made from ferromagnetic material. For solving the problem of salt deposits the device is equipped with static frequency converter whereto pulse generator is connected.

EFFECT: improving efficiency of preventing salt deposit (scale) formation on working heating surfaces of heat exchange equipment owing to wider frequency of electric and mechanical vibrations excited in water supply pipeline.
