SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the sphere of heat engineering and is designed to enable improvement of heat exchanger equipment performance due to scaling risk elimination. The proposed device for protection of heat exchanger equipment against saline sediments formation consists of a current pulse generator and a vibrator represented by a flat winding coil. The coil outward side is covered with a duralumin plate, the inward one contacting a plate immediately fitted into the heat exchanger unit and fabricated of stainless steel (diamagnetic material). On the water space side of the heat exchanger unit there is an iron plate mounted resting on the stainless steel plate and fixed with the help of hinge posts and a spring. The iron plate has a window with a movable curtain.

EFFECT: enhanced scaling protection due to the magnetic field immediately affecting the water contained in the heat exchanger.
