FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely gynecology, and refers to method for gestosis degree determination. The method consists in semiquantitative assaying blood serum procalcitonin (PCT) level of the pregnant. If the PCT index is < 0.5 ng/ml, slight degree gestosis is prognosed; if PCT is between 0.5 and 2.0 ng/ml, medium gestosis and preeclampsia without multiple organ failure is prognosed; if PCT is between 2 and 10 ng/ml, preeclampsia with multiple organ failure and eclampsia are prognosed.
EFFECT: differentiating various gestosis degrees.
