FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used for early prediction of respiratory disorders in newborns born in mothers with preeclampsia. Pre-eclampsia pregnant blood is examined for homocysteine concentration and if the value is equal to 8.9 mcmole/l or more, development of respiratory disorders in newborns is predicted. Method enables high-accuracy, pre-labor sensitivity to predict the development of respiratory disorders in newborns born in mothers with preeclampsia, to timely perform the required prevention, prescribe an adequate therapy and thereby improve the outcome of the disease.
EFFECT: simplified examination and possibility of predicting various respiratory disorders both in full-term and premature newborns born in mothers with preeclampsia.
