Device for measuring sedimentation rate of particles in biological fluids, especially erythrocyte sedimentation rate, includes: holders for test tubes, containing biological fluid samples; shaking devices to agitate tubes; at least one detector for fluid level determination in tubes; the holders being formed in continuous flexible element, defining closed path, along which shaking devices and at least one detector are disposed. Also technique is offered for measuring sedimentation rate in biological fluids.

EFFECT: increased reliability and easiness of analyses.
