FIELD: physics; acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of hydroacoustics and may be used for frightening of whales from speed passenger vessels (SPV). Method includes shaping, amplification and emission of high frequency (HF) pumping signal into water medium on n frequencies with the help of n hydroacoustic emitters installed on SPV body. At that basic frequency of HF pumping signal corresponds to resonant frequency of sound diffusers that dominate in the area of waves interaction. HF pumping signal, being diffused and amplitude-modulated with low frequency (LF) useful signal, is received with the help of n receivers located on SPV body, at that directivity of reception is formed by wave sizes of every of n receivers and its corresponding frequency of HF pumping signal, from which LF useful signal is selected by detection method. Definition of direction to its source is done by maximum value of LF useful signal by means of serial connection to solver of every of n receivers. At that n receivers form circular sector of surveillance and are oriented mainly for reception of acoustic beams that do not come out onto sea surface. As n frequencies, base frequency is used, which corresponds to resonant frequency of sound diffusers that dominate in deep bubble layer. Additionally in range of maximum acoustic frequency of whales, HF signal is shaped, amplified and emitted into near-surface air and water layers with the help of m acoustic antispray emitters located on SPV body above water, and HF signal that is diffused on obstacles of near-surface air and water layers is received with the help of m acoustic antispray receivers. With the help of n hydroacoustic receivers, additionally diffused HF signals are phase-modulated with LF useful signal, which is then separated from HF signals by method of phase detection. Additionally n hydroacoustic and m acoustic receivers are connected to solver simultaneously or parallel to each other. Additionally signals of predator - killer whale are shaped, amplified and emitted in the moment of attack at victim - whale.
EFFECT: provision of SPV sailing safety and whale life saving.
