SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of hydroacoustics and may be used in vessels with high draught and displacement (VMDD): supertanker, etc. and also on passenger vessels: liners, etc., on manned submersibles (OPA): tourist submarines, etc., for early detection of sea mammals (SM): whales, etc., icebergs and manned submersibles (MSM) of different purpose to avoid collision with them. Task solved by invention consists in early detection, identification and assessment of space coordinates of sea objects (SO): SM, icebergs and MSM by information contained in hydroacoustic high frequency (HF) pumping waves emitted in bow sectors of VMDD and diffused in obstacles of water medium: deep bubble layer (DBL), etc., in hydroacoustic low frequency (LF) waves formed in the process of SM vital activity, melting and destruction of icebergs, MSM traveling, and also in HF combination waves formed in non-uniform sea medium due to non-linear interaction of hydroacoustic HF pumping waves and LF hydroacoustic waves from SO, by relatively simple method under conditions of VMDD for provision of their seafaring safety.
EFFECT: provision of early detection, identification and assessment of space coordinates of sea objects (SO).
